What We Do

What we do

Dry ice blasting is how restoration shops and high-end dealerships get components looking factory new without taking the car apart. Pressure washers force water into connectors, seals and seams. Degreasers leave residue behind. Dry ice does neither. It cleans grease, road grime and caked-on dirt off the parts of your vehicle a regular detail never touches, then disappears.

Who It's For

  • Classic and collector owners who want their undercarriage restored without media blasting or disassembly
  • Enthusiasts and show cars that need an engine bay that looks as good as the paint
  • Pre-sale prep, because a clean undercarriage and engine bay tells a buyer the car was cared for
  • Dealerships and shops that need fast, clean reconditioning

Why Trust Me With Your Vehicle

I come from the body, paint and collision side of the business, so I know what's underneath a car's finish and what can damage it. I also know what a bad cleaning job does to wiring and electrical connectors. I adjust pressure and nozzle for every surface, so delicate labels, wiring and seals get handled differently than a greasy crossmember. This isn't a car wash with a new tool. It's one person who cares about your car doing the work start to finish.

How It Works

Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide, around -109°F. I fire it in small pellets using compressed air. Three things happen when it hits:

  1. Impact. The pellets knock loose dirt and grease.
  2. Thermal shock. The extreme cold makes grime brittle, so it cracks away from the surface underneath.
  3. Sublimation. The pellets turn straight from solid to gas.

FAQ

  • Is it safe for my paint and electronics? Dry ice is non-abrasive, and I adjust pressure for every surface. It's one of the safest ways to clean around wiring because no water is involved.
  • How long does it take? Most engine bays take a couple of hours. Full undercarriages usually take longer, depending on how much buildup there is.
  • Does it remove rust? It removes loose scale, grease and dirt so you can see what's really there. It won't reverse rust that has eaten into the metal.
  • Do I need to prep anything? No. Just tell me about the vehicle and send photos if you can.

What I Clean

  • Undercarriages, frames and subframes
  • Suspension components and wheel wells
  • Transmission and drivetrain housings
  • Wheels and brake areas
